This is a video postcard. I spent the day in Santa Cruz taking photos and speaking with some of the locals there. This is a real Costa Rican city, not a tourist town. There are plenty of jungle tours and beach towns in Costa Rica for the tourists and surfers. This is the way regular Costa Ricans live and they are all very friendly and happy people.

I shot this video a couple of days ago in the city of Santa Cruz, Costa Rica. Santa Cruz, is a typical Costa Rican rural town. Its inhabitants are very diverse and consist mostly of farmers, fishermen, workers or employees of several of the many hotels located in the vicinity.

The town is known within Costa Rica for its cultural heritage and many historical traditions. These traditions include the Fiesta de Semana Santa (Easter week celebration) and the traditional bullfights as well as many others.

If you ever get a chance to visit Costa Rica you must. It is an amazing place.
